About Our Company

The TribbleRun Comedy Network is a series of one-night comedy performances in nightclubs and hotels throughout Northwest regions in the U.S., linked together to form three to six night "runs", appropriately called "TribbleRuns".  In this way, we are able to deliver quality, cost effective live comedy to rural and metropolitan areas alike.

TribbleRun Comedy Network has been a leader in the "Live Comedy" industry for over 25 years.  Our shows feature top national touring stand-up comedians, many who have been seen on, or have written for, shows like Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, The Late Late Show with Craig Fergusson, Showtime's Comedy Club Network, Late Night with David Letterman, The Late Show with Jay Leno, Last Comic Standing, or your favorite sitcoms and more.

We are currently producing 8 to 12 weekly comedy shows in five western states and are in the unique position to combine these resources and provide an individualized direct marketing promotion for each venue, all facilitated from our home office.  This gives us the ability to create partnerships with national and regional sponsors or media outlets to help offset the costs of production and marketing.

TribbleRun Comedy Network is not only dedicated to providing quality live comedy entertainment, but also committed to taking an active role in the success of the comedy shows produced in each of our client venues.  Over thirty years in the business has shown marketing and promotions to be one of the most difficult and expensive aspects of producing successful nightclub entertainment.

It is often difficult to track the results of your advertising dollars.  One of the most successful strategies is direct marketing.  Though proven very effective, direct marketing can also be quite cost prohibitive to independent businesses that are not providing full time comedy entertainment or connected to a large franchise or hotel chain.

We can make available the tools you need for a successful marketing campaign, including newspaper press releases, posters, club banners, tickets, counter cards, radio spots, internet web presence, comedy videos and text messaging.

Radio has always been an effective marketing tool for comedy shows.  We can work closely with the stations in your market to provide free content to help promote your show by providing produced comedy clips and "live on-air" interviews with the comedians.

About Us

We are a "Mom and Pop" business - David and Laura Tribble.  In 1984, David, a Seattle native, was a booking agent with an entertainment agency in Seattle, after working for ten years as a musician, most of that time traveling with a band up and down the west coast.  Laura was working as a Property Manager for a real estate company, and Bookkeeper/Administrator for a small company owned by Joel Diamond of Diamond Parking. In 1984 we decided to pool our respective skills to create our own company, David Tribble & Associates.  For the initial two years our business prospered from the booking of quality dance bands for Northwest clubs and lounges. However, in 1985 David began to focus his attention on a growing nightclub attraction known as Circuit Comedy.  Realizing a significant void in booking standup comedy into nightclubs of rural Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming and Colorado, the next twelve months were devoted to research and analysis, with a goal of making one-night comedy stands profitable for nightclubs throughout the west.

In 1988 we purchased a comedy club in Boise, Idaho and named it "Nuts Comedy Cabaret", which became our “flagship” venue for our fast growing comedy circuits. Changing the agency's name in 1991, the newly formed Entertainment Solutions, Inc., dba The Tribblerun Comedy Network, grew into the largest supplier of circuit comedy in the western U.S., servicing over fifty successful nightclubs in a ten state region.

In the 90’s, our grandkids used to say that if Grandpa died, this would be on his headstone because they had heard it so often:  “It’s a bit of a drive, but the scenery is beautiful!”. Comics who worked for us in the early Tribblerun days might remember that from when David was trying to convince them to go from Winnemucca, Nevada to Miles City, Montana in one day in the dead of winter… we know they have many early “Tribblerun” stories to tell!  After 33 years of doing what we both love to do and happily working 50 and more hours a week while helping to raise our three grandchildren, we have slowed down to enter the world of RV living.  In 2015 we purchased a forty foot RV and left our home in Vancouver, Washington to wander the western states along with so many others who have chosen this life in their “later” years.  We discovered that we never want to live in a “house” again and are totally happy with our little forty foot home!  We have officially retired, but if any opportunities arise, we might grab them and come out of retirement, but only partially......
